Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment to Accessibility
Catori Life LLC is committed to ensuring that our website, catorilife.mom, is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every person has the right to shop, browse, and engage with our brand with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence. Accessibility is not a one-time project for us — it is an ongoing commitment that we treat as a core part of how we design, build, and maintain our online store.
Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
Our accessibility efforts are designed to support compliance with applicable laws and standards, including:
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — Title III, United States
- European Accessibility Act (EAA) — Directive (EU) 2019/882, enforceable since June 28, 2025
- EN 301 549 — the harmonized European standard for ICT accessibility
- Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act, where applicable
- Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), where applicable
What We Are Doing
We continuously work to improve the accessibility of catorilife.mom. Our ongoing efforts include:
- Designing and developing pages with semantic HTML, proper heading structure, and ARIA landmarks so screen readers can navigate our content
- Providing descriptive alternative text for product images and other meaningful imagery
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds (minimum 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and meaningful non-text elements)
- Ensuring our site is fully operable with a keyboard alone, including navigation menus, product filters, the cart, and checkout
- Providing visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
- Labeling all form fields programmatically so they work with assistive technologies
- Making touch targets large enough for users with motor impairments
- Testing with screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and color contrast analyzers
- Reviewing our site against WCAG 2.2 Level AA success criteria on a regular basis
- Training our team on accessible content practices when adding products, blog posts, and marketing materials
Supplementary Accessibility Tools
To further support visitors, we offer the UserWay Accessibility Widget, which provides on-page customization options including text resizing, contrast adjustments, link highlighting, a reading guide, and dyslexia-friendly fonts. The widget is available from any page by selecting the accessibility icon, typically in the lower corner of the screen, or by pressing the Tab key when a page first loads.
We want to be transparent: accessibility widgets are a helpful supplement, but they are not a substitute for a properly built accessible website. Our primary commitment is to the underlying accessibility of catorilife.mom itself, with the widget available as an additional convenience.
Known Limitations
Despite our ongoing efforts, some content on catorilife.mom may not yet be fully accessible. Areas where we are actively working to improve include:
- Older blog posts and product photography that may have incomplete alternative text
- Embedded third-party content (such as social media feeds, reviews, or video players) that we do not directly control
- Some PDF documents that predate our current accessibility standards
If you encounter a barrier we have not listed here, please let us know — your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.
Assessment and Testing
We assess the accessibility of catorilife.mom using a combination of:
- Automated testing tools, including UserWay's Accessibility Scanner, WAVE, and Lighthouse, to identify common technical issues
- Manual review of key user journeys, including product browsing, cart, and checkout
- Assistive technology testing, including screen reader and keyboard-only navigation
- Periodic third-party review as needed to validate our work
We acknowledge that no automated tool can identify every accessibility issue, which is why manual testing and user feedback remain essential parts of our process.

Continuous Improvement
This statement reflects our current accessibility posture and is reviewed and updated regularly. We are committed to making meaningful, ongoing progress and treating accessibility as an evolving practice rather than a finished checklist.
