5. Legal Bases for Processing (EU, UK, and Swiss Customers)

7. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share your information only with the categories of recipients listed below, and only as necessary for the purposes described in Section 4. Some of these sharing arrangements may qualify as a "sale" or "sharing" under California, Colorado, Connecticut, and other US state privacy laws because they involve cross-context behavioral advertising. You may opt out at any time using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer.

If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US and other countries that may have data-protection laws different from those in your country. You may also use an authorized agent, in which case we will require written proof of authorization.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email or writing to privacy@catorilife.mom with the subject line "Privacy Request Appeal."
12. "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" / Your Privacy Choices
California, Colorado, Connecticut, and many other US states give residents the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can exercise this right in three ways:
- Click the "Your Privacy Choices" or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer.
- Email privacy@catorilife.mom with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
- Enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honor this signal automatically.

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 for residents of the EEA and UK), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@catorilife.mom and we will delete it.
14. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), restricted access controls, and PCI-DSS-compliant payment processing through our payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
15. SMS Marketing (if you opt in)
If you opt in to text messages from Catori Life, message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your phone number will not be sold or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
16. Notice for California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)
This Policy serves as our "Notice at Collection" under the California Consumer Privacy Act. The categories of personal information we collect, the purposes of collection, and the categories of recipients are described in Sections 2, 3, 4, and 7. We do not sell your personal information for money but may "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined by California law — you can opt out as described in Section 12. We retain personal information for the periods described in Section 10. California residents may also designate an authorized agent to act on their behalf.
17. Notice for EU, UK, and Swiss Residents
If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection supervisory authority. A list of EU authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu. The UK supervisory authority is the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

By visiting our Site or purchasing from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), including any additional terms and policies referenced here. These Terms apply to all users of the Site, including browsers, customers, vendors, and contributors of content. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
We may update, change, or replace any part of these Terms at any time by posting changes to this page. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to you.
1. Online Store Terms
By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your state or country of residence, or that you are the age of majority and have given consent for any of your minor dependents to use this Site.
You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, and you may not, in using the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including copyright laws). You must not transmit any worms, viruses, or destructive code. A breach of any of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your access to the Service.
2. General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You understand that your content (other than payment information) may be transferred unencrypted and may involve transmissions over various networks and changes to conform to technical requirements. Payment information is always encrypted during transmission.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service without our express written permission. The headings used in these Terms are for convenience only and do not limit or affect these Terms.
3. Accuracy, Completeness, and Timeliness of Information
We are not responsible if information made available on this Site is not accurate, complete, or current. The material on this Site is provided for general information only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for making decisions. Any reliance on the material on this Site is at your own risk. We reserve the right to modify the contents of this Site at any time but have no obligation to update any information.
4. Modifications to the Service and Prices
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) without notice. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
5. Products and Services
Certain products may be available exclusively online and may have limited quantities. They are subject to return or exchange only according to our Return Policy. We have made every effort to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate. Many of our pieces are handmade, and small variations are part of their character.
We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction, and to limit quantities. All product descriptions and pricing are subject to change at any time without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product made on this Site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products will meet your expectations or that any errors in the Service will be corrected, except as required by applicable consumer-protection law.
6. Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed under the same customer account, the same payment card, or the same billing or shipping address. We may attempt to notify you by contacting the email or billing address or phone number provided at the time the order was placed. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. You agree to update your account and other information promptly so we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. For details, see our Returns Policy.
7. Optional Tools and Third-Party Services
We may provide access to third-party tools that we do not monitor or control. You acknowledge that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties or endorsements. We have no liability arising from your use of optional third-party tools. Use of these tools is entirely at your own risk, and you should review the terms of the relevant third-party providers.
To offer Klarna's payment methods, we may pass your personal data (contact and order details) to Klarna at checkout so they can assess your eligibility and tailor those payment methods for you. Personal data transferred to Klarna is processed in accordance with Klarna's privacy policy.
We may, in the future, offer new services or features through the Site. Any new features will also be subject to these Terms.
8. Third-Party Links
Certain content, products, and services available through our Service may include materials from third parties. Third-party links on this Site may direct you to third-party websites that are not affiliated with us. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy and have no liability for any third-party materials or websites. We are not liable for any harm or damages related to the purchase or use of goods, services, content, or any other transactions made in connection with any third-party websites. Please review the third party's policies carefully before engaging in any transaction. Complaints regarding third-party products should be directed to that third party.
9. User Comments, Feedback, and Other Submissions
If you send creative ideas, suggestions, proposals, plans, reviews, or other materials (collectively, "comments"), whether at our request or unsolicited, you agree that we may, at any time and without restriction, edit, copy, publish, distribute, translate, and otherwise use any comments you forward to us in any medium. We have no obligation to maintain comments in confidence, pay compensation, or respond to comments.
We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, edit, or remove content that we determine in our sole discretion is unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or objectionable, or that violates intellectual property rights or these Terms.
You agree that your comments will not violate any third-party rights, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights, and will not contain unlawful, abusive, or obscene material or any malicious code. You may not use a false email address, impersonate anyone, or mislead us as to the origin of any comments. You are solely responsible for any comments you make and their accuracy. We assume no liability for any comments posted by you or any third party.
10. Personal Information
Your submission of personal information through the Site is governed by Part A of this page (our Privacy Policy).
11. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions
Occasionally there may be information on the Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions related to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times, or availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We have no obligation to update, amend, or clarify information except as required by law.
12. Prohibited Uses
In addition to other prohibitions set forth in these Terms, you are prohibited from using the Site or its content:
- For any unlawful purpose;
- To solicit others to perform or participate in any unlawful acts;
- To violate any international, federal, state, or local regulations, rules, or laws;
- To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or those of others;
- To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age, national origin, or disability;
- To submit false or misleading information;
- To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code;
- To collect or track the personal information of others;
- To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape the Site;
- For any obscene or immoral purpose;
- To interfere with or circumvent the security features of the Service or any related website;
- To use any data mining, robots, or similar data-gathering and extraction tools, including for the purpose of training artificial intelligence or machine-learning models, without our express prior written consent. Our product images, descriptions, photography, written content, and customer reviews may not be used to train AI or generative models.
We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service or any related website for violating any of the prohibited uses.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties; Limitation of Liability
We do not guarantee, represent, or warrant that your use of our Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We do not warrant that the results obtained from the use of the Service will be accurate or reliable. You agree that, from time to time, we may remove the Service for indefinite periods or cancel the Service at any time without notice.
You expressly agree that your use of, or inability to use, the Service is at your sole risk. The Service and all products delivered through the Service are (except as expressly stated by us) provided "as is" and "as available," without any representation, warranties, or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title, and non-infringement.
In no case shall Catori Life LLC, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind — including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise — arising from your use of the Service or any products procured using the Service, even if advised of their possibility.
Because some states or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such jurisdictions our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have under applicable mandatory consumer-protection laws in your jurisdiction, including (where applicable) the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Australian Consumer Law, or comparable laws.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Catori Life LLC and our parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns, and employees from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms or the documents they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
15. Severability
In the event that any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed severed from these Terms. The validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions shall not be affected.
16. Termination
The obligations and liabilities of the parties incurred prior to the termination date shall survive the termination of this agreement for all purposes. These Terms are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms at any time by notifying us that you no longer wish to use our Services or by ceasing to use our Site.
If, in our sole judgment, you fail (or we suspect you have failed) to comply with any term of these Terms, we may terminate this agreement at any time without notice, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination, and we may deny you access to our Services.
17. Force Majeure
We will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where the delay or failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, severe weather, epidemics or pandemics, governmental actions, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, supply-chain disruption, carrier delays, or failures of telecommunications or utility services.
18. Entire Agreement
The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. These Terms and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this Site or in respect to the Service constitute the entire agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Service, superseding any prior or contemporaneous agreements, communications, and proposals, whether oral or written. Any ambiguities in the interpretation of these Terms shall not be construed against the drafting party.
19. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be the state and federal courts located in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws grant you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence, nothing in this section limits that right.
